Poker Run Oct 2008
Jaspers

South Coast Recreational Flying Club looks like it's going well, new flying instructors have taken on from the retired Neville Sinnott (who used to be President of our own club years ago).

Jaspers is very low lying and flood prone. The area was very green.

Shoalhaven. When the camera is close to the Lexan, there is no reflection. The haze is pretty real.

The winds picked up so we headed home. Some took the more direct route, while others took the more scenic coastal run.

The winner of the pot was Joe with three Queens. There were some robust questions about 'honest' Joe's Ansett-era card deck, but it was all good-natured.

Thanks to Joe for organising the day, and thanks to our hosts at Jaspers.

It was a great success.
